QUESTION: How long does it take to process my order once it is received?
ANSWER: Once the order is processed and the charges post to your credit card account, it customarily takes 7 to 10 days to get your item to you by ground delivery, unless you request priority or overnight shipping. International orders may take 10 to 14 days to process and complete, depending on circumstances. We do not ship on holidays. On specialty orders, please allow up to 21 business days for delivery.
QUESTION: There are breast forms listed on this site. Is this website just for the transgender community?
ANSWER: Respectfully no. While CherieAustin.com was designed to also cater to transgendered individuals, we welcome cancer survivors and those with a vested interest in enhancing the quality of their lives to the site as there are lots of items that can be used by more than just the TG community. You’ll also find that many of our items are less expensive than those of our competitors!
QUESTION: A lot of websites leave it up to the individual to figure out what size and shape of breast form they need. Since these items aren’t returnable, isn’t that risky?
ANSWER: The professional prostheses fitters at CherieAustin.com started out fitting cancer survivors with mastectomy forms. The common ground that the transgendered person shares in is that there is a “void” that must be filled to present a balanced shape and contour that not only fits well under mastectomy bras but must also look right underneath clothing. This is why we go the extra step to actually present an on-line video to demonstrate proper bra fitting and breast shape design, to determine the shape and size of the breast form you’ll need. A lot of what goes into breast design involves its intended use. Once we know the intended use, your body type and the type of clothing you intend to wear with the forms, or if you need help with wardrobe, to insure proper shape and placement of your forms, we welcome all email inquiries with prompt responses.
